BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art Family Days Meet and Make Workshops October 2021 In October 2021, I was invited to deliver workshops for families at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art. The workshops were designed in response to the Equal Play exhibition by artist and educator Albert Potrony. Participants in my workshops were invited to consider play spaces when designing and creating small scale card models, as well as working on largescale drawing, planning and construction activities when developing a 'city for play'. Across the 5 days in which the workshops took place BALTIC recorded an incredible 9,000 visitors. "Thank you so much for designing and delivering such a thoughtful, playful and engaging session for families. It was amazing to see everyone so absorbed in what they were making. We were really blown away by the creativity and imagination of people of all ages" Annie Bedford Producer (Communities) BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art |
