About
Rooted in installation and sculpture, my practice is motivated by the ever shifting political, ideological and socio-economic climate. Issues surrounding women’s labour are of particular importance. The idea of the female body as a fallible, disposable machine, and the mental, physical and societal implications of motherhood, are recurring themes. Through my work I invite contemplation of the systemic failings which surround us and explore modes of social practice which aim to elicit an understanding of the world in order to change it for the better.
My work encompasses curatorial projects and arts production. I am the founder of MOTHEROTHER, a supportive network for artists with parenting and caregiving responsibilities, based at The NewBridge Project. I am the Community Connector at The Auxiliary and curator of the New Graduate Award 2026 for Middlesbrough Art Week. I work closely with a diverse range of arts organisations across the North East of England including Helix Arts and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art.
