Pennyman, Dormanstown, Discovery, Wilton, North Ormesby and Brambles Primary Academies participated in the panting of the mini meadows and associated classroom based sessions. Project sessions also took place at Sacred Heart, St. Joseph’s and Archibald primaries.

Participating schools came to Pineapple Black in Middlesbrough to see the UPROOT meadow that they had helped to create. They enjoyed a workshop responding to the meadow and the work of artist Angie Lewin. Finally they visited the other MAW exhibitions to explore contemporary art in their town centre.
